    • Continuing Education of our Nurses

      • The majority of our nurses desire to be placed in the United States and Canada. Over 90% of our nurses hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from their place of birth making them eligible to work as a nurse aide, home health worker, personal support worker or nanny. In order to work as a licensed RN in the US and Canada, nurses are required to pass the NCLEX or CRNE, respectively. Our nurses have the option to study and pass these exams in their home countries before applying for immigration or after they have been offered a job in a non RN position as listed above. For example, nurses able to work for one to two years as a nurse aide will be able to study outside of work for their NCLEX exam through the American Health Online NCLEX review that includes lectures, queue banks and mock exams. Their already-high academic skills will increase even more during the time spent with your patients. Other nurses who choose to take their exam before applying for a working position will be eligible for a job as a registered nurse in their country of choice.

      • All of our nurses are required to take the IELTS exam prior to applying with American Health. This is an International recognized English proficiency exam required by Canada and Australia for anyone applying for immigration who does not speak English as a first language. This exam tests for reading, writing and listening comprehension skills and ensures all of our nurses will have no problem communicating with their patients or other staff members.
